POSTAL INSURANCE
If you wish your parcel to be insured for loss damage whilst in the postal system please purchase the appropriate insurance before completing the checkout process.

You can purchase your postal insurance here, or select the Postal Insurance category to the left of your screen.

VAT
Busy Lizzie Crafts are not registered for VAT and we do not charge you VAT on your purchases - we are therefore unable to refund or discount our prices by the current VAT amount for overseas customers.

PAYMENT
Payment can be made securely on-line using Mastercard / Visa / American Express and all major UK debit cards. We do not see the details of your credit/debit card - the transaction is handled securel
y via Sage Pay & Streamline.

UK Customers: Payment can also be made by sending us a cheque or Postal Order through the post


POSTAGE AND PACKING
At Busy Lizzie Crafts our postage & packing fees are based on the weight of your purchase plus a small fee to cover the packaging and handling. You will be able to see the cost of Postage & Packing BEFORE you complete the checkout process.

Items we hold in stock are usually despatched within two working days of receipt of your payment - often the same day. Items sent directly from designers are usually despatched within two/three working days - often sooner. (Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK Bank Holidays)

We order most kits especially for our customers, and to ensure you receive your brand new kit(s) as quickly as possible we arrange for them to be sent directly to you by the designer or manufacturer.  If you prefer us not to pass your postal details to the designer or manufacturer please let us know and we will have the kit sent to us first.

If we, the designer, or the manufacturer are unable to despatch an item within 10 working days we will happily cancel your order and refund your payment if you prefer not to wait. We support some of the smaller UK manufacturers so please be aware that there may be slight delays during holiday periods.

If you wish to see how your purchase/order is progressing simply log into your account at Busy Lizzie Crafts - we use this facility to keep you informed at all stages. You will not be able to track the progress of your purchase by this method once it has been handed over to Royal Mail.

UK addresses - your parcel will usually be sent via 1st class Royal Mail - although some of our designers/manufacturers now use 2nd class Royal Mail. If you specifically wish your parcel sent via 1st class Royal Mail please let us know when you place your order. If you would like your parcel to be sent via Record Delivery you can purchase this here

Overseas addresses - your parcel will be sent via Royal Mail Air Mail (Small Packets). If you wish your parcel to be insured against loss/damage while in the postal system you can purchase International Signed For delivery here

CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE EUROPEAN UNION
A Customs Declaration form will be attached to the front of your parcel clearly indicating the contents and value. You will be responsible for any customs/import duties appropriate to the country of import.

RETURNS POLICY
You have a 14 day cooling-off period which starts when you receive the goods to cancel all or part of your purchase. Should you decide you do not wish to purchase the items they must be returned to us unused, unopened, and in their original packaging within that period. Please contact us for a returns number before returning the items. We will refund the cost of the item(s) returned and the P&P element of your original purchase when they are received by us. You will be responsible for the cost of return postage. Should the goods not be received in the same condition as they were sent to you we reserve the right to charge an appropriate fee.

If your goods are faulty or not as described we will replace (wherever possible) or refund the purchase price (including postage and return postage) if the goods are returned to us in original unopened condition within 14 days of receipt, together with your invoice. Should the goods not be received in the same condition as they were sent to you we reserve the right to charge an appropriate fee.

If you wish to return your goods for any other reason we will refund the purchase price (excluding postage) if the goods are returned to us in original unopened condition within 14 days of receipt, together with your invoice. You will be responsible for the cost of return postage. Should the goods not be received in the same condition as they were sent to you we reserve the right to charge an appropriate fee.

UK customers
Please contact us before returning items. We recommend that you use Recorded Delivery/Special Delivery when returning items as we are unable to refund monies if items are not safely received by us.

Overseas customers
Please contact us before returning items. We recommend that you use a trackable method of returning items as we are unable to refund monies if items are not safely received by us.

If you are returning goods from overseas you must clearly mark the package "Returned goods of UK origin" to enable UK Customs clearance. If you do not do this and Customs charge duty on the return we will reject the package and it will be returned to you at your expense.
