Waste canvas is used to embroider cross stitch designs on non-countable fabric for example t-shirt ~ sweat shirt ~ material bag ~ hat ~ towel ~flannel ~ pet cushion
Simply cut a piece of waste canvas slightly larger than your design and tack it in place on your chosen item. Embroider your design using the canvas as a guide (similar to using aida fabric). When you have finished your embroidery carefully damp the canvas and using a pair of tweezers gently pull the waste canvas out of your design one strand at a time.
We recommend stitching a test sample first, as you may find that your stitching tension needs to be a little tighter to take account of the waste canvas being removed after finishing your design.
